Please be praying with us for the arrival of our first little one. We are so excited and can't wait to meet him/her!
I am due on Dec 20th and over the past few weeks I have elevated blood pressure and swelling which are signs of preeclampsia. The Dr's have been monitoring me closely to make sure that the baby and I are doing ok.
Our Dr. has us scheduled for a C-section for around the 8th unless my blood pressure levels out and even lowers a little. We are very hopeful to be able to still have a natural birth and would like to ask you to pray for that.
We were planning on having a water birth at home but at this point even if we have a natural birth it will be at the hospital in case of any emergency situation arises with my blood pressure.
Ultimately we desire what is best for both the baby and for me. We truly feel so blessed that God has entrusted us with this baby who HE is knitting in my womb and who HE knew before even I was born would be! So exciting to know that God is in control and that HE is our comfort and Peace.
thanks for praying!

Jason- son of a friend of the family
Please pray for Jason who is in his mid 20's. He was visiting some friends and went to a party. The next day they found him laying in the middle of the street badly beaten up (they are not sure what happened). The Dr's did not think that he was going to survive, he was in a coma for awhile. He has come out of the coma but has severe damage to his head.
They are not sure the long term implications of this incident and how they will affect his functioning. Please pray for Jason to recover fully!

Praying with us:
- that God would fill us with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. (Col 1:9)
-that we would live knowing that we can do everything through him who gives us strength. (Phil 4:13)
-that our attitudes would be the same as that of Christ Jesus (Phil 2:5-11) and that we would be imitators of God, and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us (Eph 5:1)
-that our marriage would reflect Ephesians 5:22-33
-that we would lead by example according to 1 Peter 5:1-4 and that we would be spiritual multipliers (2 Ti 2:2)
-that we would be growing in character (2 Pe 1:5-10, James 3:17,18 Phil 4:8 and Gal 5:22,23)
- that we would not be ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes. (Rom 1:16)
-for wisdom and direction in our personal ministries.
-that we would be humble and teachable
-that God would allow us to start our family this year.
